42nd SEA Age Swimming Championships

The 42nd SEA Age Groups Swimming Championships will be held on 6-8 July 201 in Laguna, Phillipines.  The tentative travel period is from 4-9 July 2018 at Trace College, Los Banos, Laguna.

The current ranking (as of 23 April 2018) is as per below. 
 

Club should have received an excel sheet to indicate swimmer's intention 
 
In the excel sheet you will find the ranking for all 3 age groups, swimmers’ detail tab and Coaches nomination tab.

1. Ranking tab                       

• Clubs are required to highlight the cells to indicate the events the swimmer accepted or rejected based on the colour code

2. Swimmers’ Detail Tab     

• Clubs are required to input all the required details in the excel sheet. Attire sizing do use back 2017 SEA Age sizing as an estimation

3. Coach Nomination Tab   

• Based on Selection policy, the number of coaches will depend on the number of swimmers selected. Based on the ratio of 1 coach to 6 swimmers. With a max cap of 2 coaches selected per club. At this point in time, Club can nominate up to 2 coaches and list them based on priority (1 being the highest priority). The Final coach selection will only be announced at a later part. Do note that this nomination DO NOT guarantee your coach a slot in the 2018 SEA Age Coaching Team

 
Once accepted the invitation, clubs on behalf of swimmers would need to provide the following documents to SSA

1. Completed excel sheet (colour code the rejected or accepted events, and fill in the details)
2. Passport detail Page (in JEPG or PDF Format)
3. Digital Passport photo (in JEPG format)
4. If parents has the intention to extend the stay in Philippines , do indicated in the excel sheet under “swimmers & parents’ detail. It is not a guaranteed that swimmers would be allowed to extend their stay in Philippines at this planning stage but an indication would help in the planning.  
5. After 2 round of swimmers' invitations and cost expenses/swimmer has been announced,  Swimmers would have 1 week to make payment and submit the completed SSA team agreement
6. In the event of a withdrawal from any of the top 2 swimmers, the next fastest swimmer would be selected to represent in the event
7.  A maximum of 2 rounds of invitation will be sent out. Any remaining spots after the second round of invitation will be left empty.  
8. Clubs are required to collate the responses for the first round of invite and send back the attached excel sheet to SSA by 29 April 2018 5pm.  
9. Second round of invites will be sent out by 2 May 2018
