An SSA Ordinary Member must have a minimum of 30 valid paying members, and be directly involved in promoting the aquatic activities through youth development programmes and participation in competitions and/or other related programmes. Each Ordinary Member is an organisation or entity, which is registered under the Societies Act or which is an entity within the Singapore Government or a Statutory Board, that is willing to abide by the Constitution and its resolutions of the SSA. Each Ordinary Member will have one vote at any General Meeting, regardless of the number of delegates allowed or present.
An SSA Associate Membership is granted to properly constituted clubs, associations, corporations, and other organisations registered or incorporated in accordance with the existing laws of Singapore and which are not already Ordinary Members of SSA. An Associate Member does not have any voting rights at any General Meeting.
