10000 Curry Bombs For A Good Cause

The Singapore Swimming Association (SSA), its Official Food and Beverage Partner, Neo Garden, and Olympic gold medalist Joseph Schooling launched a fund-raising campaign today. Neo Garden will pledge 10,000 of Neo Garden’s signature dish, “Curry Bomb” to the campaign. The proceeds from the campaign will go towards The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and SSA’s One Team Singapore Fund. The duration of the fundraising campaign will be from 6 October to 31 December 2020.
 
Gathering at Neo Garden’s premise, Joseph Schooling tried his hands at preparing the “Curry Bomb” with guidance from Operations Manager, Jacqueline Teoh. Schooling was shown the intricacies of preparing the dish, from preparing the curry, to cooking the chicken, as well as making the dough for the bread and finally putting the dish together.
 
“Cooking is one of my hobbies and I had a great time learning from the experts this afternoon. I would like to thank Mr Neo and Neo Garden for their generosity. The funds will go a long way towards helping those in need. It will also give the swim team a great boost as we continue to train towards Tokyo 2020,” said Joseph Schooling.
 
“We are very delighted to be able to work with Singapore Swimming Association on this fundraising campaign. Especially in these trying times, we are pleased to be able to contribute back to society.
